We offer a full suite of Savings, CDs and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's). Our CDs are available with fixed or variable rates and have terms of maturity ranging from 30 days to 7 years. Win-Win CD

Save money to win money with our prize-linked CD. There is a monthly drawing for $100 and an annual drawing for $1000!

Drawing Details: 

MONTHLY DRAWINGS: One (1) entry for every $25 balance increase as of the last business day of each calendar month. Drawing limited to one (1) monthly winner of $100 (funds can be deposited into CD or taken as customer wishes). (Account Opening deposit counts as 1 entry). Each $25 increment added to the CD is another entry, limit of 8 entries ($200) through the last business day of each calendar month. Drawing to take place within the first 5 business days after the end of each calendar month. 

ANNUAL DRAWING: One (1) Annual Winner of $1000 (funds can be deposited into CD or taken as customer wishes). To earn 1 entry, $25 must be added to the CD in 1 month, each additional month that a deposit of at least $25 was made, another entry is earned – limit of 12 entries for the year. (Account Opening deposit counts as 1 month). Annual Drawing to take place each December, following the last business day of the month.

CD Requirements: 

$25 Minimum deposit and balance required to obtain prize entry. Minimum amount for additional deposits is $25. Open to consumers only, businesses (including sole proprietorships), organizations, trusts, public and government entities are excluded from opening this account. Community Bank employees, officers, directors and members of their household are also excluded from opening. Limit one (1) Win-Win CD per primary Tax ID Number. Must be at least 18 years of age to open. Open to residents in the following Oregon, Washington, and Idaho counties. Oregon: Wallowa, Union, Baker, Umatilla, Morrow, Wasco and Hood River; Washington: Walla Walla and Asotin; Idaho: Nez Perce. Account must be open at time of drawing to be eligible. Winners are responsible for the payment of all taxes on prizes. Where required by law, form 1099 will be filed with the IRS to reflect prize winnings over $600 issued to winner for the calendar year.

Earn While You Learn Program

Youth Savings customers (1st through 12th grade) can present their end-of-the-year report cards during the months of June or July to earn $1 for every top grade¹ they've received per main subject during the school year 2 The Annual  Percentage Yield (APY) on a Youth Savings account is 0.02%, effective as of March 1, 2016 - subject to change at any time. Contact us for current rates.

  • $25 minimum balance required to obtain the Annual Percentage Yield and the bonus.
  • Report cards3 must be presented at the local Community Bank branch during the months of June or July of the same year of the dated report card.
  • Bonus will be deposited on the same business day that the report card is reviewed (and is deposited directly to Youth Savings Account).
  • Youth Savings Account must be open at the time the bonus is paid.
  • Current Youth Savings customers that turn 18 during their senior year can still receive the bonus as long as they have continued to maintain an open savings account.

¹ Top grades include any grade of an "A" (A-, A, or A+). Bonus paid once per main school subject per grading period. If no final grade is given for a main subject, grades from subcategories will be averaged to determine main subject final grade. Top grades should be noted on report card and could include "S+" for above satisfactory, "E" for excellent, or any other grade explained on report card to be the top grade for that grading system.

2 Up to $50 annually per student. The bonus is treated as interest and the student will receive a 1099-INT form following the end of the year.
