Tom Moran 

President and CEO

Tom Moran is the President and CEO of Community Bank. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Tom started his banking career working for First Bank, headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. Coming to Community Bank in 2001, he managed the Bank’s Pendleton and Hermiston markets, and later worked as Community Bank’s Controller. He was promoted to President and CEO in 2008. Tom is currently on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Bankers Association, and resides in Walla Walla.

Sharon Castilleja

Executive Vice President / Chief Operations Officer

Sharon Castilleja is the Chief Operations Officer of Community Bank. A native of Wallowa County, Sharon attended Kinman Business College in Spokane, Washington.  Sharon began her banking career with Bank of Wallowa County (now Community Bank) from 1970 to 1977. After taking a 12 year break from banking, she came back to work in 1989 and has worked for Community Bank ever since.

Anthony “AJ” Tarnasky

Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer

AJ Tarnasky is the Chief Credit Officer of Community Bank. Raised in Heppner, Oregon, AJ earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Oregon State University, and is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington in Seattle. His banking experience includes managing a consumer lending unit at US Bank in Portland, and most recently he served as Senior Vice President and Credit Administrator at Columbia River Bank in The Dalles, Oregon.

Keith Burghardt

Executive Vice President / Chief Administrative Officer

Keith Burghardt is the Chief Administrative Officer for Community Bank handling Product Management, Marketing, Public Relations and various administrative functions. Born in Yonkers, New York, Keith has a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta, and is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington. Keith's banking experience includes seven years in various marketing roles at Bank of the West, and three years as an internet services consultant for Wells Fargo. Keith is currently Treasurer of Walla Walla Elks Lodge #287, a member of Walla Walla Rotary and coaches football for the Walla Walla Youth Football League.
