History

Joseph, Oregon business leaders founded the Bank of Wallowa County in May of 1955. In 1976 Bank of Wallowa County established a branch in Enterprise. The bank remained relatively unchanged until 1991 when we began an active expansion effort, which resulted in the creative of the 17 branches we have in Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington today.

Unlike many of our competitors, we continue to control our own destiny. Community Bank employees, Officers and Directors own the vast majority of our outstanding stock, and are dedicated to remaining independent and locally owned.
